This is an amazing all day adventure for hard core treasure hunters and those who love Peter James books featuring DS Roy Grace. This hunt has been endorsed by Peter James himself! He follows Black Cat Treasure Hunts on Twitter and said he was  "...blown away by the detail"of this hunt.

The treasure hunt starts at Hove Lagoon (BN3 4LX), site of a murder in You Are Dead! Try and park up on Wharf Rd and walk over to the site of the first question. This is a combined walking and driving treasure hunt that will last you 5-6 hours...so allow a whole day with food/drink stops.

The style of the hunt is a combination of questions about things you can see on route, which are sited at places featured in the books, with questions directly about the content of the books that you can discuss with the rest of your car mates as you go along.

After the initial questions at Hove Lagoon you make a short drive into Brighton for the main, but not only, walking part of the treasure hunt. Two hours in Brighton tracking down key places in the books allows you a varied and interesting exploration around Peter James` favourite city. After that you are on the road, with a stop on the cliffs at Peacehaven, and on to Newhaven, Piddinghoe, Lewes, outskirts of Brighton and on to Shoreham before completing a round trip of approx 45 miles back to Hove Lagoon to finish.

The Chattri, shown in the photo at the top of this page, is an incredible place to discover on foot and is included due to its relevance in one of the books. This treasure hunt is not for the faint hearted with crashing chandeliers,car chases,close encounters with the police,severed hands and dead bodies! It might help if you are reasonably fit for the walking sections (Chattri is uphill on grass).
