The Black Cat is Good to Go!

We`ve read the news, taken in advice, got the on-line guru updates. With the easing of lockdown regulations across a wider cross section of businesses from 4th July, Black Cat Treasure Hunts is declaring itself properly open for enquiries again.We are Good to Go! As an activity that relies on people keeping less than 2 metres apart this has not really been an option to date. With a consideration towards 1 metre then our treasure hunts are eminently achievable.

Our on-line hunts can be completed in `social bubbles` anyway. I`ve got to say I do like the term `social bubble`, whereas `the new normal` has a more menacing tone to it. Our new normal is that as before we would like you to consider your own health and safety as well as anyone else`s you see on route. If this means keeping a little further apart than before then please adhere to current regulations.

In the open air and socially distanced as required, Black Cat does not feel the wearing of masks is a condition of taking part. Of course you may prefer to wear one.If you are taking public transport to get to the start of the hunt then you will of course need to wear one.

Tourists have completed lots of Black Cat treasure hunts and as such that makes us part of the tourist industry. Our fellow activity providers are currently declaring themselves `good to go` with relevant precautions taken to mark up their premises for the safety of their users and guidelines available for the use of sanitiser and gloves or other ppe. Black Cat Treasure Hunts is lucky that our work place is the open air with routes in the countryside,villages,towns and cities. We have driving treasure hunts into the countryside  which are suitable in the right circumstances too.

Black Cat writes personalised treasure hunts for hen parties, teambuilding and all other celebrations and special events. This requires individual decisions on the suitability of taking part in a treasure hunt now or delaying until later this year or until next year. Black Cat can be present on the day to do the organising and at the all important marking and judging.However, venues to do this and numbers taking part can be agreed and discussed in advance to make sure that everyone is confident and happy to do so in a safe environment.
